I’m tremendously grateful to everyone who helped us make October a fantastic month for our campaign — perhaps our best yet!

I was thrilled to be endorsed by Planned Parenthood Action Fund and End Citizen United // Let America Vote. They are leading voices in the fight for our progressive values, and it means the world that they know our campaign is best positioned to flip North Carolina’s Senate seat for Democrats!

We continued to travel the state meeting with voters — including the Raleigh Women’s March, the AFL-CIO’s candidate forum in Wilmington, and numerous stops on college campuses from the mountains to the coast.

And finally, we found out that our campaign outraised every other candidate in this race for the second quarter in a row — including failed former Governor Pat McCrory and Trump’s candidate Ted Budd.

All of this news and momentum is why the Charlotte Observer’s headline about our campaign said, “In NC race for Senate, one Democrat had a winning quarter.” A North Carolina political analyst added that we “can claim front-runner status.”

That is a testament to what we’ve built together. The thousands of people who help power this work — whether you’re donating, volunteering, amplifying our posts on social media, or telling your family and friends about our campaign — are the backbone of our campaign.
