But I’m even more proud of the work we’ve already accomplished together during my first five months in office. During this year’s legislative session, I was proud to work with leaders from both sides of the aisle to expand funding for our schools, improve our foster care system, and take a giant step towards balancing our state’s budget.
Now, we’re facing our next challenge: Hitting our $25,000 June end-of-month goal by this Sunday at midnight. If you’re ready to keep moving our state forward, chip in $5 or more today to help us hit this goal.
Right now, my team and I are working on our priority list for the next legislative session. I’m confident that if we continue to work together we will be able to expand Medicaid to tens of thousands of Kansans and pass a thoughtful and prudent tax reform measure to balance our state’s budget.
