Just last month, thousands of workers across the U.S. — from workers at Kellogg and Exxon, to Healthcare workers and the San Antonio Symphony Musicians — rose up and fought for better conditions and better pay.
But thousands of workers from across the country do not have proper union representation to combat low pay and unsafe working conditions, so they are more susceptible to exploitation. Despite this, Henry Cuellar voted “NO” on passing the Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act twice — a bill that seeks to restore the right of workers to freely and fairly form a union and bargain together for changes in the workplace.
Henry Cuellar has made it loud and clear that he puts big corporations over the well-being of South Texans. That’s why Jessica Cisneros is ready to work with unions to make sure South Texas workers are protected once she’s elected to Congress. Jessica has strong union support behind her, but if she can get support from everyday supporters like you, she’ll be closer to victory.
