**Tell Congress to OPPOSE President Biden’s vaccine mandates on Americans**

President Biden has issued sweeping vaccine mandates, forcing employees at companies with more than 100 people to get vaccinated, as well as dictating to federal employees and contract workers that they get the vaccine. Employers face large fines, and employees face immediate termination for not complying.

Congress must hear from all of us. Contact your U.S. Representative and U.S. Senators and urge them to oppose and defund these heavy-handed mandates that undermine individual freedom and liberty.

**Nolan Center for Justice**

Why does ACU Foundation work on criminal justice reform? Because we can improve the system to hold people accountable, reduce incarceration rates, and make our neighborhoods safer at the same time. **Former Acting US Attorney General, Matt Whitaker**, and ACUF’s own **David Safavian**, write about how a little girl was abducted and kept in a shed for 18 years -- delivering two babies while she was locked away -- even though federal probation officers repeatedly inspected the kidnapper’s home. After writing an [op-ed in the American Spectator]([link removed]), **ACUF’s Pat Nolan** was on **C-Span’s Washington Journal** last week, discussing how we can help formerly incarcerated people become good citizens again. The key is finding meaningful work. So-called “Clean Slate” policies automate the record sealing process for those who convicted of low-level, non-violent crimes – but only if they remain crime free for at least seven years. Five states have adopted Clean Slate (Michigan, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia and Connecticut). These policies cut recidivism and make it easier for those who have made mistakes to re-enter society.
