Hello John,

Reindeers need your help.

A pub in the UK will be holding an event using live reindeers... and I need your help to stop them!

Advertised as an 'exciting' event, the live reindeer will be part of a display for customers. Aside from the garden of a pub being a completely unsuitable environment for a semi-wild animal, these reindeer will likely be exposed to people under the influence of alcohol.

The inclusion of animals is completely unnecessary. The customers will still be able to meet Santa and his elves and enjoy all the magic of Christmas without needing to include stressed, imprisoned reindeer in a miserable little pen.

It's not necessary, and it needs to be stopped.

TAKE ACTION!
1. Contact the Saddle Inn owners and demand they cancel their reindeer 'display' ([link removed])
2. Donate to the campaign to end the use of lvie animals as festive entertainment ([link removed])

Tragically this likely won't be the only event these animals must endure. There are companies who exist to 'supply' live animals from events like this and they make their money by taking animals around the country from venue to venue. Animals are subjected to busy events, with crowds of humans, bright lights and noise.

All in the name of human entertainment.

Using animals in this way sends a message that animals can be used as props, rather than living beings. Please will you help me stop this by taking action now?
