Today’s Election Day, and today we’re celebrating the thousands of voters who are casting a ballot for the first time thanks to VoteRiders’ work to help them secure a voter ID. 

This never would have happened without your support. So today, I’m taking a moment to express my sincere gratitude to you for making it possible for so many Americans to cast a ballot with confidence.

But even as Americans vote today, here at VoteRiders, we’re already looking ahead to 2022 and the quickly-approaching midterm elections. There will be more voter ID laws on the books than ever before, and states with existing voter ID laws have made theirs even stricter. 

VoteRiders has nearly a decade of experience on the ground, and we have firsthand knowledge of the impact of voter ID laws on our fellow citizens. We know that these confusing and ever-changing laws can — and do — discourage or prevent millions of Americans from casting a ballot.

We can’t let that happen.
