Today is the day! Whether for governor, state legislators, or in local races, make sure you get out there and vote for candidates who support reproductive freedom!

So much depends on the outcome of today’s elections. In cities across the country, elections for mayor and city council will determine whether local governments will advance reproductive freedom. In the bellwether state of Virginia, electing champions for reproductive freedom will keep the state on track to continue expanding abortion access. In New Jersey, electing pro-choice leadership will mean continuing to fight for the Reproductive Freedom Act.

As we saw yesterday when the Supreme Court heard arguments about the Texas abortion ban, our fundamental right to abortion access is in a highly precarious position.The electoral process is one of the most important ways to protect and expand those rights. Up and down the ballot, we must vote for the candidates who will step up for reproductive freedom.
