Wednesday night on a campaign rally stage in North Carolina, Donald Trump lashed out at me again while his supporters in the crowd chanted “send her back.”
Trump is spreading xenophobic lies about me because he’s threatened by the policies that I’m fighting for in Congress everyday with your support. He’s doing this as a distraction to rile up his base and keep the headlines off of his disastrous policies.
Trump can lash out at me all he wants, but I will never stop fighting for the American people and to make our union more perfect. There is nothing he can say that could stop me from serving the country I love.
Together we are building a movement that is inclusive of all Americans, where we guarantee health care, education, and housing as human rights; where workers earn a living wage and no one suffers in poverty in the richest country of the world.
