Let's get everyone to vote!

The best way to help Nikkita Oliver and Nicole Thomas-Kennedy win is to support one of our replacement ballot printing stations tomorrow. Many people are registered but don’t know where their ballot is! We can print them a new ballot on-site which they can put in an envelope and return to the drop box down the street. These are yuge wins from short conversations!

Here is the website: https://kingcounty.gov/depts/elections/how-to-vote/ballots/replacing-a-ballot-or-envelope.aspx

We also need volunteers in the areas surrounding printing stations to direct people to the tent who need a replacement ballot. Look for our tent near the lightrail stations below. Please come through TODAY and we’ll explain the rest. Here is the schedule:

  • Columbia City Light Rail Station 12pm-7pm
  • Capitol Hill Light Rail Station: 12pm-8pm
  • UW University Street Light Rail Station (43rd and University): 12pm-8pm

We printed 40 ballots Monday and expect to print many more today. We just don’t know how close this election is gonna be. When Shaun Scott ran, it shifted from 16 points to just 4 due to late-returns. Let’s do everything we can to help get a voice for working people on the Seattle City Council! Can we count on you?

Lastly, thank you. Due to your help canvassing, texting, emailing, or calling -- we've mobilized like no past Seattle DSA endorsed campaign. You've been creative too. We may not have the money the opposition does but we have people leveraging our collective strength in new ways that will help organizing around policy goals like Housing for All, a Green New Deal, and defunding police. You've changed this election. These cold days the sun is out less -- but with it comes hope that our best days are not behind us. They're ahead and with it a red star.
