Our Revolution is very proud to endorse Larry Krasner for re-election as Philadelphia District Attorney.

We first endorsed Krasner for District Attorney in 2017 when, against all odds, this former public defender prevailed. That victory was a defining moment for Our Revolution and the Criminal Justice Reform movement.

Prior to his landslide victory in the Democratic Primary, Krasner joined a National Organizing to Win call and told us about what he’s accomplished so far:

Philadelphia incarcerees will spend half as much time in prison
80% fewer juveniles are languishing in out-of-home placements
18 innocent people have been exonerated
His office broke its contract with ICE and set up a unit to protect immigrants
He created a unit to protect workers from criminal employers
He’s enforced a policy of not accepting testimony from officers who have forged evidence, coerced confessions, abused power, or made racist remarks
His office has stopped prosecuting nearly all simple drug possession cases. Marijuana possession cases are not charged
