Here are just a few of the things he’s done in service to life:
- Jeff has fought to prevent your tax dollars from paying for abortion on demand.
- He’s worked to stop using foreign aid dollars to export abortion to other nations, especially the ones that don’t want it.
- He has sought protections for babies born alive after abortion attempts—right now those tiny babies are left to die, wounded and alone.
- He’s worked to safeguard conscience rights for health care workers, so they’re not penalized for refusing to participate in abortions.
- He’s condemned Planned Parenthood’s trafficking in the body parts of aborted babies (among other horrors).
- He’s supported the legal battle of the Little Sisters of the Poor against the pro-abortion mandates of Obamacare.
His latest—and maybe most important—work for the unborn and their mothers is called Care for Her.
We are Americans. As Jeff says, “we should be big enough and generous enough to care for a woman and her child who need help in times of vulnerability.”
Care for Her is a way to support a woman with an unexpected pregnancy, from the moment she sees that positive pregnancy test, through the pregnancy, all the way to birth and child-rearing.
It’s an awesome bill, promoting a community of care for the journey that mother and her child travel together.
But if the FBI succeeds in their unjust prosecution, Care for Her loses its author and strongest advocate.
We are fighting them, and we intend to win. But the fight is expensive. They have unlimited federal resources. We’re an ordinary Nebraska family, with five kids and a dog.
