Judicial Watch announced recently
that it received 329 pages of records from United States Park Police
related to the January 6, 2021, demonstrations and disturbance at the U.S.
Capitol. The records show that on the day before the January 6 rally
featuring President Trump, US Park Police expected a “large portion” of
the attendees to march to the US Capitol and that the FBI was monitoring
the January 6 demonstrations, including travel to the events by “subjects
of interest.”

Bowdler as a “proud Latina” who will help the agency “focus on racial

States Park Police were warned as early as Dec. 2020 that there was
potential for an uprising at the Capitol on Jan. 6, and the Federal Bureau
of Investigations (FBI) was monitoring demonstrations leading up to the
riots, newly released court documents have revealed.
The documents were released in response to a lawsuit filed by Judicial
Watch in May, after U.S. Park Police previously denied a Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) request in March for all records related to
the Jan. 6 insurrection.

sues North Carolina town over scholarship intended for Black students
Fox News
The city
of Asheville, North Carolina, is facing a new lawsuit alleging
that it violated the state and U.S. constitutions by designating
a scholarship program for Black students.
Announced on Wednesday, the civil rights lawsuit was filed by the
conservative Judicial Watch (JW) and WNC Citizens for Equality Inc. The
latter claims that at least three of its members who said they would apply
for the city's scholarship if not for their race.
