Happy World Vegan Day!

Today we’re celebrating veganisman incredible way of living kindly. By leaving animals off our plates, and embracing a cruelty-free lifestyle, we can create real change for millions of cows, pigs, chickens, and other innocent victims of factory farming.

Within our broken food system, these animals face some of the worst cruelties imaginable: sunless sheds, metal cages, debilitating diseases, and—all too often—the agony of going to slaughter completely conscious.

Choosing to go vegan is one of the most powerful ways we can end this abuse.

And veganism isn’t just good for the animals. It’s also good for the planet and for our health. Dr. Michael Greger, the author of How Not to Die, puts it like this: “The most ethical diet just so happens to be the most environmentally sound diet and just so happens to be the healthiest.

So, whether you’ve been vegan for years, or you’re at the very start of your plant-based journey, we’re here today to send up a big cheer for everyone who’s choosing compassion. Together, we’re building a movement led by love. And if you’re looking for ways to get involved...

Veganuary (Vegan + January) is right around the corner. Can we count you in?

I'M ALREADY VEGAN!
I WANT TO TRY GOING VEGAN!

Thank you for making the world a better place, one kind choice at a time.

Wishing you a happy World Vegan Day.

P.S. Let’s ring in 2022 with a month-long challenge to try going vegan for 31 days—or encourage your community to go plant-based! What better time of year to embrace a fresh start.
