Just over 24 hours until polls close in Virginia. The entire country is fixed on this race as an indicator of Democrats’ chances in 2022.

Over the past 2 years, Democrats in Virginia passed a series of bills to protect voting rights and expand access to the ballot box. Now, there is a chance that the GOP takes over and erases the progress we’ve made.

Recent polls show Glenn Youngkin could actually win this race. If the worst happens, Republicans across the country will feel empowered to embrace far-right views. And Democrats across the country will be demoralized and our fight for voting rights will take another step back.

A Republican win in Virginia will give the GOP huge momentum in their fight against voting rights. Please chip in to protect the progress we’ve made and help Democrats win in Virginia.

Our previous victories in Virginia were incredibly consequential. In 2019, Democrats enacted the Virginia Voting Rights Act which repealed the state’s voter ID law, mandated 45 days of early voting, created no-excuse absentee voting, made Election Day a state holiday and implemented Automatic Voter Registration.

A loss tomorrow will be equally as powerful. It will signal to Republicans that they can appease insurrectionists and the far-right while also getting votes from moderate Republicans and independents.
