RepresentUs is turning up the heat this week, John. Let me explain:

This Wednesday, RepresentUs co-founder Josh Silver is joining Yolanda King – Martin Luther King Jr.’s granddaughter and youth activist – and other democracy leaders to demonstrate in front of the White House to demand President Biden push the Freedom to Vote Act through Congress.

President Biden promised to “restore the soul” of our democracy, but hasn't done a thing to ensure the Freedom to Vote Act – our best chance to save democracy – passes. That has to change.

Write an official comment to President Biden to show him that Americans everywhere are urging him to put his weight behind the Freedom to Vote Act.  We will deliver every comment on Wednesday.

There could not be a more crucial time to pass this bill. Corrupt party loyalists are gerrymandering maps all over America, passing voter suppression laws in swing states, and pouring millions of special interest dollars into buying elections.

That’s why Josh Silver, Yolanda King, and youth leaders are demonstrating at the White House on Wednesday to ask President Biden to do everything in his power to pass the Freedom to Vote Act. We can’t all be in D.C. on Wednesday, John, but with your help we can show that the entire country supports our call to pass the Freedom to Vote Act.
