John, tomorrow is Election Day in Philadelphia and I want to connect with you one last time before then to make sure you have a plan to vote.
Tomorrow we have an opportunity to create more affordable housing by expanding the Housing Trust Fund, to call on Pennsylvania legislators to decriminalize, regulate, and tax cannabis for adult-use, and to elect three Philadelphia women to the Pennsylvania Judiciary.
I’ve worked hard to advance these ballot initiatives and I’m proud that The Philadelphia Tribune just endorsed both of them — be sure to vote YES on Questions 1 and 4!
Throughout the past few weeks I’ve also been working to get out the vote in Philly through my Black Greeks Together Voter Outreach Initiative, and I’m so thankful to everyone who has chipped in to support this work.
If you haven’t already returned your mail-in ballot at City Hall, tomorrow, November 2nd is the last day to do so. If you’d prefer to vote in person, polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. ET.

Voting is the backbone of our democracy, John, and I can’t stress the importance enough of making sure you get out and vote today to shape the future of our city and Commonwealth.
Thank you for exercising your right to vote, and I’ll see you at the polls!
— Councilmember Derek Green
