It feels like just yesterday we launched this campaign, but it was nearly four months ago.

Sometimes, to be honest, time can come to a standstill around our house. The best example: My five-year-old gets obsessed with playing one song over and over and over again. Last week it was “Copacabana;” this week it’s “We Will Rock You.” (Next week: Who knows?)

As I hear the latest favorite on repeat for the 50th time—the same words, the same chords, the same melodies—it can get easy to forget that time is actually flying by.

It feels like just yesterday we launched this campaign, but it was nearly four months ago. And a year from today, we’ll be in the home stretch, just days away from pulling off the unthinkable and denying Mitch McConnell a seventh term in Washington.

A year from today, we’ll be in our final push to get out the vote. Our team will be working around the clock to talk to voters across Kentucky about how Mitch McConnell has sold them out over 35 years in Washington, and to remind them that it doesn’t have to be that way. We deserve leadership that puts families, students, seniors, and everyday Kentuckians first again.

A year may seem like a long time, but in politics, things can change in a moment. Fundraising deadlines like this one are times when we do the hard work to make sure we’re prepared for anything. And trust me, we know no level of nastiness is off the table from the other side.

The first months of this campaign have gone by in a flash. You can bet that the next 12 will, too. Before Thursday’s monthly fundraising deadline, chip in and let’s stay on track to win this.

We will rock this,
Amy
