It’s Dem AG Mark Herring here. Tomorrow is Election Day, and I can say with absolute certainty that our team has really given it everything we have.
Before Virginians cast their votes tomorrow, I want to take a moment to say thank you. It’s been a long race, but we’re here today because of the Democratic Attorneys General Association, and supporters like you.
Even though we hope to bring home a victory tomorrow, DAGA still needs resources to support and elect Dem AGs. No matter what happens in our race, DAGA needs to be prepared to help the next batch of candidates and incumbents running for AG seats across the country.
This is a scary time for our democracy. I remember the intense anticipation and excitement almost exactly a year ago, when we all made our voices heard at the ballot box and rejected Donald Trump.
Like that day, tomorrow can be another milestone day for our democracy. I believe that our pro-democracy message has resonated with Virginians, and I can’t wait to see the results.
But, tomorrow also serves as a reminder that we are only 12 months away from a midterm election with incredibly high stakes.
To make sure Dem AGs are in office to continue to protect our most vulnerable communities, we need to be investing early in 2022 swing states, friend. DAGA has done that time and time again, and it’s a key reason for their success in targeted races across the country since 2016 — but they need your help to make those investments as soon as possible.
Democratic AGs truly are “The People’s Lawyers” and DAGA is the only party committee devoted to electing more of them. Since 2016, we’ve won two-thirds of our targeted races, and with more than 30 AG seats up for grabs in the next two years, we need your support – will you chip in today?
