To be frank, the polls are not looking good. The most recent numbers show Terry McAuliffe TIED with Trump-backed Glenn Youngkin for governor of Virginia.

A little more extremely relevant info about Youngkin: This is a guy whose supporters threw a rally where they said the pledge of allegiance to a flag that was at the Capitol during the January 6th insurrection.

If you ask me, “supports the white supremacist-led January 6th insurrection at our Capitol” ought to be an immediate disqualifier for any elected office — Congress, governor, President, and everything in between.

We must ensure that people like Scott Franklin and Glenn Youngkin are prevented from taking and holding onto power. Their dangerous, extreme-right leanings have no place in our government.
