Folks,

Two months ago the Supreme Court declined to halt Texas’s dangerous abortion ban. I called on this grassroots team to stand up against this draconian attack on reproductive rights, and many of you signed my petition for the Supreme Court to block the law. Finally, the Supreme Court agreed to hear the case, and this morning the justices heard arguments from both sides.

The fight to defend Roe v. Wade and uphold the right to safe and legal abortion care for people across the country is critical, especially in this moment, when reproductive freedom is very much at risk. We can’t afford to lose momentum or get complacent. That’s why I co-sponsored the Women’s Health Protection Act, because I believe the right to access safe abortion care should not depend on what state you live in.

The Women’s Health Protection Act would codify Roe into federal law and protect against attacks on abortion access. I’m counting on folks like you to show your support for the Women’s Health Protection Act today. Time is working against us here, so the more grassroots support I can show for this legislation the better.

Will you add your name to my petition calling on the Senate to pass the Women’s Health Protection Act? While the Supreme Court Justices deliberate this case, we must enshrine access to reproductive care into law once and for all.

ADD YOUR NAME

This is part of an ongoing, aggressive, and coordinated attack on reproductive freedom — and that’s why it’s so important we hold onto our Senate majority and expand it in 2022.

A Republican Senate led by Mitch McConnell would continue trying to gut abortion rights and rush to fill our courts with anti-choice judges.

Thanks for making your voice heard on this important issue. Glad to have you on the team and to fight alongside you.
