The Virginia gubernatorial race, where Democratic former Gov. Terry McAuliffe was once favored over Republican Glenn Youngkin, is now too close to call. Up the road in New Jersey, polls have tightened in Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy’s reelection race as President Biden’s approval ratings have declined.
