#5FORTHECLIMATE:
WHY YOUR SMALLEST DONATION COULD DO SOMETHING BIG DURING COP26
[link removed]
As world leaders gather to discuss the future of our planet, through World Land Trust you can make a difference – this very minute.

In the month of COP26, you can help us protect the tropical forests, wetlands, and mangroves of Guatemala’s Laguna Grande. Your smallest gesture – a donation of £5 – will save 35 square metres of this habitat home to 700+ species, helping to keep carbon in the ground.

At this pivotal time for the planet, you can add your voice to ours as we call on world leaders to treat COP26 like the last best chance it is: acting, really acting so that we can avert the interlinked climate and biodiversity crises before it’s too late.

Operation Ocelot in COP26
Our mission for children to save the rainforest with
Steve Backshall
** ([link removed])

Are your young ones looking for a way to make an impact for the planet as COP26 gets underway?

Look no further than Operation Ocelot, a mission where children measure their school or any other area and then raise funds to save the same size area of habitats in Guatemala’s Laguna Grande. As Steve himself puts it:

“If you’re a teacher, parent or Scout leader, this is something relatable for your youngsters to engage with – to look at a place they can see every day like their school or their street and know that they are saving the same size area of rainforest full of jaguars, ocelots, toucans and more.”
