Difficult voting restrictions disenfranchise large numbers of working-class people, while campaign finance laws have rendered our political system an effective oligarchy. But if we want to transform our society into a real democracy, we must understand the current system, corruption and all.

Striketober continues as over 10,000 UAW union members have gone on strike at John Deere, including those in McDonough, GA. The company has rejected a proposed wage raise after a record-breaking year in which they made over $5 billion in profits.
If you want to support these workers, please donate to the solidarity fund here! This fund is organized by UAWD (Unite All Workers for Democracy), a grassroots movement of UAW members, active and retired, united in the common goal of creating a more democratic and accountable union.

💭 Poli-Ed Workshop: Think like a Socialist! Pt. 3💭

Join us for "Think Like a Socialist Pt. 3: Socialism, Communism, Anarchism" on November 15th at 6:30 pm. Like our previous workshops, this will be an open and engaging discussion about some of our favorite topics, such as: What is socialism? What is communism, and how is it different from socialism? What role has anarchism played in the Marxist tradition?
This workshop will be held online. Please RSVP to receive a zoom link in your email. We encourage you to attend at the scheduled time, but a recording of the workshop will also be provided for all event registrants.
