It's November and that means it's American Diabetes
Month® (ADM)! Every year, the American Diabetes Association®
brings the diabetes community together to raise awareness for the
diabetes epidemic. It's a time to get educated, find resources,
and make sure all those around us are aware of their risk, too.
This year, we're offering up four weeks of information and
know-how so you can take steps to reduce your risk and lessen the
burden of diabetes-it's The Big Step Up! It's week
one, and we're stepping up awareness surrounding diabetes. Did
you know that over 34 million Americans live with diabetes and over 88
million more live with prediabetes? The scary part-85% of people
with prediabetes don't know they have it!
You're a vital player when it comes to your health, and
you're a vital player in the larger fight against diabetes. We
can't continue the great work we do, especially during ADM, to
raise awareness about diabetes without your support. We're in
the business of saving lives, and it's never been more critical
that you stand up in this fight alongside us.
Please help us this ADM and make a donation that will truly make
a difference to millions across America-that's how
we'll make The Big Step Up.
