National Republicans have been spending hundreds of thousands of dollars in New Hampshire -- they’ve made us a top target in their strategy to keep the Senate and take back the House.

They’ve specifically targeted Chris with gross and untrue attack ads just this month, and if you needed any more evidence of how serious they are about turning the Granite State red in 2020, the GOP is even trying to recruit a former Trump campaign manager and professional attack dog for the president to run for the Senate seat.

Building a strong infrastructure here in New Hampshire’s First District is necessary if we’re going to protect the progress we’re making in the House. If we don’t, Chris and our team won’t have the resources we need to win.

We know this is going to be a tough seat to defend -- no incumbent has won re-election here since 2008, and the seat has flipped parties four times in the last five elections.
