John,
I’m not sure I can even believe it.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, there was a shooting at an off-campus homecoming party for Texas A&M University-Commerce. Sadly, two people were killed and 12 were injured.
And just hours later, as family and friends gathered for a vigil for one of those slain, shots were fired at the vigil.
John, where are we safe?
The answer is clear: Nowhere.
Each day, we read another tragic story. A shooting in a church, a synagogue, a movie theater, a school, a mall, a grocery store, a bar, on the road, at a party… the list goes on.
Help fund the fight. We’re standing up to the NRA and a do-nothing Senate and we need your help.

Our nation has a gun violence epidemic. And if we intend to stop it, we must stand up to the NRA and everyone else who stands in the way of safety.
Please, if you’re as outraged at the status quo as I am, take the next step and help fund our fight.
