Team, there's no question that Minnesota is going to be important in this election. In fact, it's why I'm writing to you about my good friend and colleague, Tina Smith.
Tina is one of the hardest working Senators we have. I admire Tina's commitment to service -- fighting for Minnesota and for all Americans. She's a tested public servant who understands the needs of Minnesotans and always puts them first. Nobody, not even the special interest groups wielding their influence in Washington, will change that.
And Tina needs our help. Her opponent, Jason Lewis, is no stranger to the political cat and mouse game. He's part of the extreme right and is championed by President Trump, the RNC, dark-money groups, and the hundreds of millions of dollars they have at their disposal.
So here's the deal: Tina still needs to raise $7,539 before midnight on Thursday. She needs to hit this goal in order to beat Lewis and stay in the Senate.
