John, unlike a lot of people who run for office, I know what it’s like to grow up in poverty.

So I was outraged when my Republican Congressman, Don Bacon, voted to cut taxes for billionaires and corporations, instead of lending a hand to hardworking families.

I’m running against him to fight for families like yours and mine in Congress.

But I don’t come from money -- and running for office is really expensive. If I miss my October Goal, I’ll be forced to make serious budget cuts and my chances of winning will drop dramatically. I know I can make it if 1 more supporter from 19125 chips in before midnight.
