Hello Somebody! And Happy Halloween!

I hope that you are having the chance to enjoy the weekend with a little bit of fun. My grandson loves the mailman, so he’s dressing up as a postal worker, and I absolutely cannot wait to see him!

Without taking up too much of your Sunday so that you can get back to spending time with friends and family, I would like to just gently remind you of our first-ever online fundraising deadline tonight at midnight and let you know that we are still about $9,012 short of our goal.

Since launching our movement earlier this month, we are gaining traction, and our momentum is picking up. We are hosting canvassing events, holding virtual phonebanks, and organizing folks from all across the country to join our movement towards progress. Progress on issues like racial justice, immigration reform, gender equality, voting rights, ending climate chaos, and more.

However, if we are going to continue building up enthusiasm, we absolutely must sustain our fundraising numbers to strengthen our efforts and expand our reach even further. So I am asking you today if you will contribute $27 to ensure that we close this critical fundraising gap before the clock strikes twelve tonight.
