That probably didn’t scare you, but trust us, there is plenty to be scared of this year: a minimum wage that hasn’t increased in 12 years, Senate bills being held hostage by moderates, and a filibuster that’s blocking all progress.
Fun puns aside, these are real problems that require real solutions.
The struggles that working Americans are facing every day in this country can be solved if the House, Senate, and White House worked together to pass the legislation that we so desperately need. But while a moderate few stop some of this legislation from passing, we need to support the leaders who have helped our country move forward.
Despite what some pundits say, we don’t need to sell out on our values to pass legislation. We know so many of our progressive ideals are supported by the majority of Americans.
Ro is going to continue focusing on passing progressive legislation that will benefit not just his constituents, but working people across the country. But in order to put all his efforts behind legislating, he needs financial support from grassroots donors like you.
