Friend,

Did you know that Texas Democrats lost the state house by less than 23,000 votes across 9 winnable races?

Imagine if we had fueled a ground game that delivered those 23,000 votes. We would have avoided a bill stripping women of their constitutional right to bodily autonomy. Avoided a bill targeting trans children. Avoided a bill denying disenfranchised communities the right to vote.

23,000 votes is all it would have taken in a state where 5,600,000 eligible Texans didn't vote at all.

A losing margin that slim is a tragedy — and a call to action. And Ground Game Texas is responding, by working around the clock to mobilize voters around issues that actually matter to them, such as raising wages, supporting workers, and decriminalizing marijuana.

Our campaigns have the power to turn out tens of thousands of currently unregistered or inactive Texas voters — enough voters to determine future statewide elections. But we can’t get them done without your support.

Our October fundraising deadline is midnight TONIGHT, and we still need to raise another $2,470 to reach our goal. Will you rush a donation now, friend? [[link removed]]

We’re doing everything in our power to put popular progressive issues on as many local ballots as we can, because we know it’s a winning formula to unlock turnout in Texas. We’re so glad you’re in this fight with us.

Thank you for pitching in before this major fundraising deadline,

Mike Siegel
