I’m about to ask you for $3 to support our campaign and defend the Senate for Democrats. Here's why:

In just a few hours, we will close the books on our end-of-month fundraising deadline — and in the Senate, we’re closer than ever to passing the President's Build Back Better agenda, but we still have our work cut out for us.

That’s because Mitch McConnell and Republicans continue to do everything in their power to stop us from legislating and delivering for New Mexicans and people all over the country.

They’ve done some serious damage to our democracy over the past few years, and it’s clear they are ramping up attacks at the state level — from extreme restrictions of reproductive rights in Texas to passing laws that make it harder for people of color to access the ballot box.

Despite that, we’ve made some significant progress. We’ve expanded the child tax credit, so families can better budget from month to month. We’ve helped small businesses survive the economic crisis caused by the pandemic.

But there’s a lot of difficult work ahead. It’s clear that the only thing Republicans are focused on is amassing millions of dollars from dark money and wealthy elites to attack us and flip the House and Senate in 2022. But as we saw last year, people power is the only thing that can beat back their relentless attacks.
