Friend,

I’ve seen New Hampshire’s beauty and "Iowa nice” -- and in the process, learned the policies that will help bring this country back together.

“Training for a Lifetime” in which skills are acquired and re-acquired throughout one’s life in the labor force (the states' 2.5% and 2.4% unemployment rates would be 7.6% and 6.2% if those who lost jobs and now lack the skills to get another were included).

On the heels of hundreds of rural "for-profit" hospitals closing, another 20% of those rural hospitals are expected to close. Yet the Medicare-for-all policies proposed by many candidates will rely upon for-profit hospitals! We need to begin testing publicly-run hospitals like the VA for the areas that are being abandoned.

Annually, we only have half as many small business start-ups as years ago. Small businesses create 70% of all new jobs. We need new tax credits to incentivize investment in small businesses.

These are policies that help all Americans, particularly in rural areas — but we are not talking about them. No wonder why Trump supporters (and plenty of Clinton supporters) identify with my fellow Pennsylvanian P!nk’s song, “ What about us?”

Please support my effort to bring these policies to America as a President who walks in the shoes of all Americans.

Warmest regards, Joe
