Hi folks, I hate to bother you on Halloween, but I need to share something important with you. My team just let me know that we are behind on our October goal, and the deadline expires in just a few hours.

That’s a serious problem because Mitch McConnell only needs to flip one seat to reclaim the majority and stop our progress. While our fundraising is slowing down, Republicans are raking in tons of cash and using it to attack vulnerable Democrats left and right.

That’s why I’m reaching out today with an important request. I know these emails can be quite pesky — heck, the last thing I want to do is ask you for your hard-earned money. But the truth is, they make a significant difference for our team.

If we're going to protect our Democratic majority from McConnell and his rolodex of megadonors, we need to meet every single one of these goals. And if we're going to do that, it will come from folks like you donating on messages like these, because I am never going to beg the wealthy few or corporate special interests to cut me a check.

So, will you pitch in to help us close the gap in our October fundraising so we can protect our fragile Senate majority? With so much critical work still ahead, it’s important that we keep the majority out of McConnell’s hands.
