John,
With everything happening in Congress right now, it can be easy to forget that Election Day is on Tuesday.
On Thursday, WFP champions and progressives in the House once again held the line against attempts to bring the smaller bipartisan infrastructure bill (otherwise known as BIF) up for a vote before agreement on the Build Back Better Act that includes many of our progressive priorities.
While Congress delays action yet again, and it’s still unclear what may happen next week, Election Day brings the hope of electing a new generation of WFP champions who will fight for working families at all levels of public office.
From school board, city council, mayorships, and more — when we elect WFP endorsed candidates on Tuesday, we’re working to elect leaders who will change the status quo on education, policing, housing, and climate in communities nationwide.
We’re behind our $15,000 end-of-month goal to elect candidates nationwide on Tuesday. Can you support our organizing in these final days with a $3 contribution by midnight tonight?

Next week will be a big test for our movement — both in Congress and communities all across the country. But with your support, we can grow our progressive coalition at every level of government and keep up the fight for historic investments in working families.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
