John: Last week we set a bold fundraising goal of $45,000 for the month of October, but only because I believe in this movement and know we can hit it. 

I just got the email below from Marty, my Finance Director — tonight is our end-of-month deadline and we’re still $3,246 short of our goal. It’s going to be close, but I really believe we can make this happen.

Our team has faced a lot of adversity so far this year, but you and I both know we have been resilient against every attempt by the GOP to take me out. I promise you, I’m fighting every single day to defend our democracy, stand up to the GOP’s misinformation, and demand accountability. 

But John, if our October numbers are soft once they go public, the GOP is going to take it as a signal to ramp up their attacks on our movement. Can you make a donation right now so that we hit our $45,000 goal before tonight’s deadline at midnight?
