The extreme Republican candidate running against Terry is Glenn Youngkin. Youngkin is a mega-millionaire who has Donald Trump’s “full endorsement.”

It ain’t a mystery why Trump is all geeked up about Youngkin. Election experts are saying Democrats could lose Virginia. If that happens, Republicans would get a huge surge of momentum going into the 2022 midterms.

So it’s this simple:

If Glenn Youngkin wins, Donald Trump wins. Worse, Trumpism will be on the march again heading into a pivotal midterm for the future of our democracy.

The good news is that Terry McAuliffe has what it takes to win. He’s tough, experienced, and has bold plans for Virginia that every single Democrat should be over the moon to support.

Terry can win, but he’s going to need historic voter turnout to pull it off, because Youngkin has pledged spending up to $75 million of his own money to buy the Governor’s office for him and Trump.

So here’s my ask:

Let’s work our hearts out to make sure Terry McAuliffe wins the 2021 Virginia governor’s race one Tuesday. If we do that, we put a stake in the heart of Trumpism once and for all.
