Meow John -- I just heard my mom talk about her October end-of-month fundraising goal, and it has me paw-sitively spooked.

Normally, I like to spend Halloween celebrating how purr-fectly adorable I am when I get dressed up.

But I'm setting my costumes aside, taking a break from my mid-meow-ning cat nap, and reaching out to you today about my mom's critical fundraising deadline at midnight (because sometimes the best person to lay it all on the line is a cat).

I'll admit, I would rather be protecting Cedar Crest from ghosts and goblins, but the only thing scarier than finding a mouse or a ghost on the grounds is that my mom isn't where she needs to be if she's going to hit her $25,000 goal. But, in case you fur-got, my mom's race is shaping up to be the most competitive governor's race in the whole country -- so we need all paws on the ground.
