We started the summer with a big win: introducing a $6.15 billion New Deal for Pennsylvania that invests in roadways, clean water, childcare, and more to get our community safely back to work.

Then, we secured major grants: $200,000 for urban renewal and $625,000 for traffic improvements in Allegheny County, and another $23.9 billion (that’s billion with a B!) for the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Rehabilitation Project.

And our biggest success this summer was a movement for transparency in Harrisburg. I introduced a bill that would require elected officials to publish their expenses online – because the public has a right to know where every taxpayer dollar goes.

Now, I am working hard to bring new ideas to the table, pass more legislation, and secure a brighter, fairer future for all Pennsylvanians. But I am facing a tough re-election fight – and we cannot afford to lose momentum now.
