Hey John,
You’ve gotten a lot of emails from our campaign over the last few days, and I wanted to reach out to talk about why.
Like we’ve said, we’re up against a fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. Because this campaign is fueled by grassroots donations, not by corporate PACs, deadlines like these are really important. How much we can fundraise from our supporters determines the travel, the events, the advertisements, the staff (and even the merch!) we can afford.
That’s why, to say thank you, I’ll be calling a few of the grassroots supporters who chip in any amount in these final hours before our deadline at midnight tonight. Before midnight, can you chip in $5, or whatever makes sense for you, and get the chance to get a personal thank you call from me?
John, I’m running for Senate because our communities here in Ohio are suffering, and we need each other now more than ever. I grew up the daughter of an immigrant in a strong community that looked out for one another.
I look around our state now and I see so many communities that used to be like that — communities that with the right leadership and the right support, could be vibrant and connected once again.
So I don’t need corporations or the establishment to tell me what policies would help our state — that’s why this campaign relies on our grassroots supporters so much. By being a grassroots-funded operation, we can stay 100% committed to the needs of the people.
It means so much that so many of you help this campaign run. That’s why I’m calling folks who help us over this October 31 finish line to say thanks. If you chip in any amount right now, you might get a thank you call from me in the next couple days.
Thank you for all that you do!
Morgan
