It's Friday - and we want to share with you scenes from a week in the life of the campaign here in IL-07:
LAST FRIDAY.
Anthony gave a keynote address for the youth attendees of Illinois Central South’s HOBY State Leadership Seminar. Anthony shared the importance of taking stands for all people and not simply when an issue impacts ourselves and talked about what it means to live out the verb form of "ally."

SATURDAY.
We celebrated Juneteenth with the Oak Park community! (both photos)
... and joined a protest against the Heartland Alliance in support of the migrant children who are being held in Heartland shelters throughout Chicago. Free the kids!

SUNDAY.
Anthony joined a fundraiser for SER el Cambio - a re-entry program for undocumented trans women.

MONDAY.
We joined an event held by PASO-West Suburban Action Project in support of ending family separation and abolishing ICE.

TUESDAY.
Anthony, as director of his non-profit Suburban Unity Alliance (SUA), led new financial support for the Austin Community & Family Center. $5,000 will go to help fund the summer program for local youth as "nothing stops a bullet like opportunity."

WEDNESDAY.
Anthony served as a facilitator for PLCCA’s 2019 Safe Summer Jam, which works to educate and empower youth so that they remain safe throughout the summer and the school year.

THURSDAY.
Anthony supported the Sunrise Movement by joining in a community Democratic presidential debate watch party and taking part in dialogue around changing debates to focus more on climate change. We need the Green New Deal!
