I am always thinking of my daughter, Jaime, whose life ended when she was murdered in her school in Parkland, FL – but this week, the name of her killer is all over the news as he is on trial for her murder and 16 others. It’s impossible to describe all the emotions I’m feeling, but there is one thing that remains constant: I am determined to end this senseless gun violence and prevent other families from feeling the pain mine does.
