We're running out of time to unlock $25,000 in conservation funding for vulnerable animals - pitch in before October 31!
Dear Friend of Defenders,
Time is short, so I'll be quick.
Thursday is the last day to unlock $25,000 in critical funding to fight back against the most severe attacks on wildlife and wild places of our lifetimes.
If we want to save them, we need to be ready to take drastic action.
We need to get 1,000 donors to unlock this much needed gift – but we're still a few supporters short, and time is running out.

Here's what our most vulnerable species are up against:
Gray wolves are being hunted and trapped by the hundreds in the Northern Rockies, jeopardizing their recovery from the brink of extinction
Southern resident orcas are starving and dying off one by one, with their food supply demolished by development and pollution; and
Big Oil has a plan to bring massive machinery to the heart of the Arctic Refuge, spoiling this serene habitat and threatening polar bear mothers and cubs.
We have experts on the ground, pulling out all the stops to help these species and so many more. And your contribution, plus the $25,000 challenge amount, will help us keep up our lifesaving work for threatened and endangered wildlife.
