[ [link removed] ]It's ALL on the line in Virginia this Tuesday!

Election Day is Tuesday -- All Donations 3X-MATCHED!

Dear People For Supporter,

It’s no secret that blind fealty to Donald Trump’s “Big Lie” about
nonexistent voter fraud in the 2020 election has become a litmus test for
Republican candidates all over the country.

So where does Virginia’s Republican candidate for governor stand on this
question? As he does on so many other issues, he’s trying to show a
moderate face in public -- but kowtowing to the Far Right in private.

It wasn’t until May of this year -- after he won the primary election --
that Glenn Youngkin was finally willing to publicly admit that Joe Biden
won the 2020 election. And he continues to traffic with people who support
the Big Lie that fueled the January 6th insurrection. That’s dangerous --
and we need to stop him.

[ [link removed] ]There are only three days left until the
election in Virginia -- and we're currently $26,000 short of our goal.
Please rush in a triple-matched contribution NOW to support our final GOTV
efforts to STOP Glenn Youngkin and keep this bellwether state blue. >>

Consider as well:

* Earlier this month, Steve Bannon headlined a pro-Youngkin rally in
Richmond at which everyone in attendance pledged allegiance to a flag
that event organizers proudly announced had been carried at the
“peaceful rally” for Donald Trump on January 6th. ^[1] (For the
record, at least 5 deaths, 138 police officer injuries, and more than
$30 million in damages were caused by the insurrectionists’ attack on
the U.S. Capitol on January 6th. ^[2]) Glenn Youngkin has disavowed
the violence ... but has yet to refute Trump’s conspiracy theories.

* In August, Youngkin headlined an “election integrity” rally at Jerry
Falwell’s far-right Liberty University in Lynchburg, an event that
even his Republican ticket mates declined to attend. The event was
closed to the press and not published on Youngkin’s social media
channels ... so we’re all still wondering what he was hiding at this
event. ^[3]

* Youngkin continues to campaign with, and welcome the support of, top
surrogate Amanda Chase – a Virginia state senator who attended the
January 6th insurrection, calls herself “Trump in heels” and continues
to peddle lies and baseless conspiracy theories about voter fraud.^[4]

All Donations 3X-MATCHED this weekend!

[ [link removed] ]So we’re asking: will you chip in generously to support People For’s
efforts to expose and disrupt these far-right extremists, elect Terry
McAuliffe, and keep Virginia blue?

We thank you in advance for any support you can provide in these critical
last days before the election -- and promise we’ll put your donation to
good use in our GOTV efforts right away.

Sincerely,

— Ben Jealous, President
