We need to close the fundraising gap in Virginia if we’re going to reelect AG Mark Herring.
We'll cut to the chase, friend.
Jason Miyares, the Republican nominee for Virginia AG, is outspending AG Mark Herring on television ads in the final days of this election.
That’s bad news, team, because this race is close — every recent poll shows that this race is in the margin of error. And now, Miyares is scattering his anti-justice, conservative message across the state, right before voters head to the polls.
We just learned that on top of the $2.8 million Miyares has spent on TV ads over the course of this race, he’s added another $1.2 million in the final week of the election. After this infusion of ad spending, Miyares is now spending nearly a million dollars more on TV ads than Dem AG Herring’s campaign has.
This level of late spending puts AG Herring at a disadvantage, and we’ll level with you team, this could be what puts an extremist pro-Trump conservative in the AG seat. And we can’t let that happen.
Miyares is a right-wing extremist, and he’s voted against Virginians’ best interests on health care, universal background checks, justice reforms and more.
We’re in the home stretch now. In just three days voters are heading to the polls — and we can’t do this without you.
Thank you,
