I know there is a lot of concern right now around redistricting since California is losing a Congressional seat. The first draft map was released this week and it was what we feared - it takes my district and makes it even redder.
I’m advising folks to stay calm and remain patient because we won’t know the official lines until December. But, there’s one thing we can do right now and it’s to prepare for what’s to come. We have to raise money now, so that we are ready to reach new voters right when the maps are official in December.
My team and I want to raise $15,000 this weekend towards a New Voter Outreach Fund, but we’ll need your help and support. Can you please rush in a donation right now so that we can be ready to reach new voters on day one?
