John, in January, the nation watched as Georgians elected Senators Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff to the Senate, and ended Mitch McConnell's reign as Senate Majority Leader.
We won thanks to heavy investment in organizing working-class voters and people of color. And our movement in Georgia is just getting started. We’re excited to be supporting several WFP champions running for elected office in Georgia this year, from city council and commissioner to school board and Mayor.
By electing WFP champions to local office, we are building a pipeline of progressive leaders in the state, who will bring transformative change for generations to come and set the stage for consequential midterm elections in 2022 — because our national agenda runs directly through Georgia.
We have a goal of raising $15,000 by midnight tomorrow to help power local elections in the coming week. Will you contribute $3 to help elect WFP champions in Georgia and across the nation?

Since WFP activists started organizing in Georgia almost four years ago, we’ve worked to build progressive political infrastructure across the state by:
- Supporting candidates up and down the ballot;
- Training more than 100 candidates, campaign managers, and political staffers through three pipeline training programs; and
-
Staying focused on changing the face of leadership in the state by training Black women, women of color, and non-binary people.
All of these efforts have built on each other, creating a powerful network of volunteers and activists who have been moving mountains on the ground.
Our work towards building a Georgia that working people deserve starts with electing WFP champions to public office, who will fight for working families, and move the needle on key issues affecting our communities.
We need to invest in the state that delivered Democrats a Senate majority, and where organizers have worked for years overcoming voter suppression without national attention. When you contribute to the Working Families Party, you are building a movement that will change the status quo on care, transit, housing, jobs, and climate — both in Georgia and across the nation.
But with just days until Election Day, we need all hands on deck. Can you contribute $3 or more toward our end-of-month goal of $15,000 to help us build progressive power in Georgia and all across the country?
In solidarity,
Britney
