Here are some updates on where things stand in Virginia's election for governor, John:
FIRST: FiveThirtyEight predicts that Trump's hand-picked candidate Glenn Youngkin "could win." He's currently tied with Democrat Terry McAuliffe 45% to 45% in reputable polls. But a recent poll shows him +1 with registered voters.
THEN: Youngkin sensed an opening and dumped another $3.5 million of his own money into the race. That's on top of the more than $10 million he's already spent.
NOW: Trump just announced he's once again headed to Virginia to rally his far-right base before the election Tuesday.
The next few days are going to be make or break for McAuliffe, and Democrats all across the country. This election will set the tone ahead of next year's midterms, so we need to do everything we can to support McAuliffe.
