John,

The violent insurrection on the U.S. Capitol last January was a watershed moment, both for our country and myself. As a U.S. Army veteran, seeing other veterans there participating in an attempt to subvert our democracy and throw out the results of the 2020 election was hugely disappointing and disturbing to me.

And when our U.S. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick voted against impeaching Donald Trump for inciting this revolt, a flame was lit inside me. That’s when I started planning to run for office.

While Fitzpatrick is known for being a “centrist” or “moderate,” the truth is, he voted in line with Trump 84% of the time from 2017-2018, and failed to stand up for our democracy and vote to impeach this traitorous president when he had the chance.

Folks in Bucks and Montgomery Counties deserve a leader with a spine, one who’s unafraid to fight for them and stand up for what’s right.

With your support between now and the 2022 election, I aim to become that leader and defend not only our democracy, but our reproductive freedom, voting rights, and ability to access affordable healthcare and quality public education.
