I know we send you a lot of emails — I also know how valuable your time is — but we only have three days left in this election.

But I hope that you’ll take a moment to read this email and I hope you’ll find it convincing enough to join our team and donate to help us get out the vote on November 2nd.

Folks, I know Terry McAuliffe. He actually cares about the future of the Commonwealth of Virginia. He cares whether folks have good high-paying jobs and a quality education. He cares about building people up. He did it before as Governor and I’m confident he’ll do it again after he’s elected in November.

Terry and his running mates, Hala Ayala and Mark Herring, are responsible for some of the greatest accomplishments this Commonwealth has seen in decades.

While Terry was Governor he pulled Virginia’s economy out of the Great Recession, created over 200,000 new jobs, oversaw personal incomes rising, and made record investments in education.

Hala Ayala was elected to the House of Delegates in 2017, and has passed bills that have redesigned the fabric of our Commonwealth for the better. From expanding medicaid, caping the price of insulin, and ratifying the Equal Rights Amendment, to ending the death penalty and codifying the Voting Rights Act of Virginia, Hala has been a leading voice in this new Progressive movement in the General Assembly and will be an amazing leader as Lieutenant Governor and as the President of the Virginia Senate.

Mark Herring has been our Attorney General for the last 8 years, and I’m proud of the work his office has done since he was elected. Suing the Trump administration’s Muslim ban, fighting the opioid epidemic, going after the groups like the NRA, creating a Civil Rights division in the Attorney General’s office, and defending the Governor’s decision to remove the hateful statue of Robert E. Lee from Richmond’s Monument Avenue. Mark Herring has defended Virginia at every turn and will continue to do so when we re-elect him to another term on the 2nd.

Folks, this isn’t just about not electing the guy Trump endorsed — this is about electing the right people to do the job — Terry, Hala, and Mark. This is about sending them back to Richmond with a Democratic House of Delegates. This is about moving Virginia forward as a Commonwealth.

I believe that with your support, and the support of other folks just like you, we can win in 3 days — I hope you’ll join us.
